2002 - present: organometallic coordination chemistry
of NHC carbenes
Elena
investigates the coordination chemistry of our recently
synthesized N-anchored tripodal NHC carbene chelator
with catalytically active metals, such as nickel, rhodium,
and iridium. Her preliminary results show that rhodium
and iridium form new trinuclear complexes with this
ligand system. These complexes show catalytic activity.
